Wild Oscar was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an fracture of the right radius/ulna and was humanely euthanised.

Stewards established that Bonta Magic turned in the boxes. Acting under GAR 52(1) Bonta Magic was placed on a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks).

The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Call Me Matt and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 11:12am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A ten-day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Ms Deborah Churchill was fined the sum of $100.
