It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left long head triceps (monkey) and shoulder muscles, a seven-day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Mrs. Pressley with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Higgins pleaded not guilty to the charge, Mrs. Pressley was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to Mr Carl Schlensog, the kennel representative for the greyhound Lektra Stroll, regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the fourth turn. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Lektra Stroll with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Schlensog pleaded guilty to the charge, Lektra Stroll was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at The Meadows (MEP) and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to the Trainer and Handler of Lireva, Mr Steven Collyer in regards to his conduct behind the starting boxes during the running of this race. The Stewards deemed Mr Collyer's conduct as inappropriate and issued him with a severe reprimand on this occasion and cautioned that a repetition of a similar nature, may result in more punitive sanctions being imposed.
