Peninsula Panda, Primrose Diamond and Special Member were slow to begin. Will Dazzle, Aston Salute and Big Burkey collided on the first turn checking Big Burkey. Aston Salute galloped on Will Dazzle on the first turn checking both greyhounds, Special Member was checked as a result. Aston Salute and Big Burkey collided in the back straight. Will Dazzle was checked off Peninsula Panda approaching the second turn. Aston Salute and Big Burkey collided on the second turn. Primrose Diamond was checked off Will Dazzle on the home turn. Peninsula Panda and No Guarantees collided on the home turn.
