Steward's Report
Chicken Parma was quick to begin. Hungry Heart, Manitoba and Banjo Snoopy were slow to begin.
Hungry Heart and Kruzin' Cripps collided soon after the start, checking Talbragar River and severely checking Kruzin' Cripps and Manitoba. Hungry Heart and Chicken Parma collided approaching the first turn. Hungry Heart, Chicken Parma,Paua To Load and Banjo Snoopy collided on the first turn, checking Hungry Heart and Banjo Snoopy and causing Chicken Parma to fall; Archer's Will was severely checked and Kruzin' Cripp and Manitoba were checked as a result. Archer's Will and Manitoba collided in the home straight.
Chicken Parma was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a thoraco-lumbar injury and shin soreness to the right hind leg. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
