Steward's Report
Nunniong Plain was slow to begin.
Magic Shianne crossed to the rails soon after the start, checking Kraken Aye Kay and All Inn Amy. Wicked Pedro and Magic Shianne collided approaching the first turn. Justa Jezza, Broulee Miss and All Inn Amy collided approaching the first turn, checking Broulee Miss. Justa Jezza lost ground on the first turn. All Inn Amy and Kraken Aye Kay collided approaching the home turn, checking Kraken Aye Kay and Broulee Miss; Broulee Miss raced wide as a result. Succession Plan and Nunniong Plain collided on the home turn. All In Amy and Magic Shianne collided in the home straight.
Justa Jezza was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained carpal sprains to both wrists and a right hind toe injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Subsequent to receiving the veterinary report, Stewards spoke to the trainer, Ms Adele Powell. Ms Powell felt that there may be other injury and she undertook to advise the Stewards of any future findings, GAR 75.
