Steward's Report
Mr. G. Allen the trainer of Tree Climber Liv approached Stewards under GAR 23(2) and requested the greyhound be scratched due to the noise and lights from the carnival operating close to the track, on the second turn. Stewards granted Mr. Allen's request and Tree Climber Liv was a late scratching at 7.35pm.
A pre-race sample was taken from Snip Snap.
The start of this event was delayed by approximately 1 minute due to a Moonee Valley race.
Brandeen Bayley and Snip Snap were quick to begin. Jimmy Vella was slow to begin. King Kai and Aston Philou collided on the first turn checking Aston Philou. Aston Philou stumbled in the back straight and lost ground. Jimmy Vella and King Kai collided on the second turn. Dynamo Magic and Josie Rumble collided in the home straight.
Aston Philou was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
