Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Dance Craze and a post-race sample was subsequently taken.
Blue Squirrel and Pingu were slow to begin.
Silver Wood and Cosmic Bay collided approaching the first turn checking Silver Wood. Cosmic Bay and Miss Barbados collided on the first turn checking Miss Barbados. Silver Wood, Miss Barbados, Dance Craze, Who Told Lindylu, Pingu and Blue Squirrel collided on the home turn checking Blue Squirrel. Silver Wood and Pingu collided in the home straight.
Blue Squirrel was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left fore nail injury. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.
Meeting Comments:-
Satisfactory Trial Results - Nunniong Miss trialled over the 450mts from box 2, weight 27.0kgs, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 25.49, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 8L. Nunniong Miss was cleared.
