Stewards spoke to , Mr. I. Anderson, the trainer of Joyce's Choice regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Joyce's Choice last raced on 9th July, 2017. Mr. Anderson stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following an injury to the right front toe.

Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Donaldson, the trainer of Dark Chance regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Dark Chance last raced on 11th May, 2017.  Mr. Donaldson stated that the greyhound was returning to racing from an extended spell.

King's Fury was a late scratching at 13.48 on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to illness. No stand down period was imposed.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Nunniong Miss trialled over the 450mts from box 2, weight 27.0kgs, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 25.49, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 8L. Nunniong Miss was cleared.
