Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Patrick Furci, the trainer of Bellachino, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Ballachino last raced on July 4th 2017. Mr Furci stated that the greyhound had been spelling. Mr Furci declared a new weight of 32.4kg for Bellachino in accordance with GAR 39(2). Bellachino last raced at 31.1kg.
Zenstar was a late scratching at 11:49am on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to a right wrist injury. A 21-day stand down period was imposed.
A pre-race sample was taken from Podium Express.
Belena Bold and Bellachino were slow to begin.
Bellachino checked off Belena Bold approaching the first turn. Podium Express checked off Bolare approaching the home turn.

Satisfactory Trial Results (Blinkers) - Kynan's Revenge trialled over the 390m from box three, weight 35.0kg, the greyhound was placed fifth in a field of five. The time of the trial was 22.62, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 12L. Kynan's Revenge was no cleared to race in blinkers.
