Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Ice Cold Yug.
Geopark Ruby was quick to begin.
In A Jam and Gambler's Loot collided soon after the start checking Gambler's Loot. Just Crystal, In A jam and Gambler's Loot collided approaching the first turn checking Just Crystal. Ice Cold Yug and Prince Rohnomy collided in the home straight and again approaching the winning post. Ice Cold Yug eased approaching the winning post. Middle Trucker and Shadow Diamond collided approaching the winning post.
Stewards spoke to Mr I. Rilen, the representative of the greyhound Ice Cold Yug regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Ice Cold Yug was vetted and re-vetted following the event 5. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left monkey muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Ice Cold Yug with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Rilen pleaded guilty to the charge, Ice Cold Yug was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
