A pre-race sample was taken from Parto's Digit upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.

Razorback Black and Flying Rose were quick to begin.  Parto's Digit was slow to begin.

Mikey, River wild and Razorback Black collided soon after the start.  I'll Swap Ya and Flying Rose collided soon after the start checking I'll Swap Ya.  I'll Swap Ya and Parto's Digit collided on the first turn.  River Wild and Flying Rose collided on the home turn.  I'll Swap Ya checked off Mikey on the home turn checking Parto's Digit.  I'll Swap Ya raced wide in the home straight.  

I'll Swap Ya was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound a right monkey muscle injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Total Diva upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling a post-race sample was subsequently taken.

A sample was taken from Razorback Black - winner of the event.

Goldenpaw Kid was a late scratching at 11.07am due to the incorrect greyhound being presented at kennelling.  Stewards spoke to the trainer Mr Whitford regarding the presentation for the incorrect greyhound. Stewards deemed this a breach of GAR 86(O) and to be negligent. Stewards issued a fine of $250, Mr Whitford pleaded guilty.

Stewards spoke to Ms S. Reaper, the trainer of Pink Lipstick regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Pink Lipstick last raced on 4th May, 2017. Ms Reaper stated that the greyhound was returning from a spell.

Miss Barossa was slow to begin.

Day Walker and Belron Gaz collided soon after the start checking Belron Gaz.  Peninsula Lady, Grey Magic and Pink Lipstick collided soon after the start checking Pink Lipstick.  Peninsula Lady and Pink Lipstick collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Peninsula Lady, Pink Lipstick and severely checking Miss Barossa, Day Walker and Grey Magic.  Miss Barossa and Day Walker collided on the home turn.  

Day Walker was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left monkey muscle injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Ice Cold Yug.

Geopark Ruby was quick to begin. 

In A Jam and Gambler's Loot collided soon after the start checking Gambler's Loot.  Just Crystal, In A jam and Gambler's Loot collided approaching the first turn checking Just Crystal.  Ice Cold Yug and Prince Rohnomy collided in the home straight and again approaching the winning post. Ice Cold Yug eased approaching the winning post.  Middle Trucker and Shadow Diamond collided approaching the winning post. 

Stewards spoke to Mr I. Rilen, the representative of the greyhound Ice Cold Yug regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post.  Ice Cold Yug was vetted and re-vetted following the event 5.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left monkey muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Ice Cold Yug with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Rilen pleaded guilty to the charge, Ice Cold Yug was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Kid Dynamo was quick to begin.  Bling Legacy was slow to begin.

Orlando Cruise, Buckle Up Spitz and Ollie Pedro collided soon after the start checking Buckle Up Spitz.  kid Dynamo and Blue Cat Wombat collided approaching the first turn.  Buckle Up Spitz checked off Orlando Cruise on the first turn.  Kid Dynamo and Blue Cat Wombat collided on the first turn severely checking Fan The Top, Bling Legacy and Blue Cat Wombat.  Bling Legacy and Blue Cat Wombat raced wide entering the home straight.  

Blue Cat Wombat was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Temujin and Zara's Pride were quick to begin.  Apila Cash, Amaroo Bazinga and Dr. Colt were slow to begin.

Temujin and Wild Oscar collided approaching the first turn.  Call Me Matt galloped on Dr. Colt on the first turn.  Wild Oscar and Amaroo Bazinga collided on the home turn.  How Good She and Call Me Matt collided entering the home straight checking How Good She.

Stewards spoke to the presentative Ms K. Smith regarding her difficulty in boxing the greyhound Oriental Lord. Stewards directed that Oriental Lord be boxed first in future events.

Bruiser Senor was a late scratching at 11.18am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr C. Fulford was fined the sum of $100.

Ms K. Smith, representative of Son Of Steve declared a new weight of 31.6kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Son Of Steve last raced at 29.6kgs.

This event was delayed by approximately 2.15mins due to the late arrival to the boxes.
