A pre-race sample was taken from Tiger Bite Turbo.
Charlie Rocket and Six Gun were quick to begin. Mint Boy was slow to begin.
Tiger Bite Turbo, Lucky Brew and Frac Geek collided soon after the start checking Tiger Bite Turbo. Lucky Brew and Frac Geek collided on the first turn checking Frac Geek. Pop Do It and Iceni Menace collided on the first turn checking Iceni Menace. Mint Boy checked off Frac Geek approaching the home turn. Iceni Menace and Mint Boy collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds. Iceni Menace and Mint Boy collided entering the home straight.
MEETING COMMENTS:
Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) & Weight Trial - Stewards spoke to Mr. W. Hartigan, the trainer of Avatar Flame regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Avatar Flame last raced on 19th October, 2016. Mr. Hartigan stated that the greyhound was new to his kennel. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Avatar Flame trialled over the 410m from box 2, weight 33.3kgs the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 24.02, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of a neck. Avatar Flame was Cleared.
