Steward's Report
This event was delayed by 16 mins and re-scheduled to commence at 4:30pm, to allow for the boxes to be re-alined. The boxes then failed to open. All greyhounds were removed from the boxes and vetted. Greyhounds Canya Touche (5) and Skibbo (9) were declared unfit to race and were declared late scratchings at 4.29pm.
Canya Touche was vetted at the boxes. It was reported that the greyhound sustained stress following the false start, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.
Skibbo was vetted at the boxes. It was reported that the greyhound displayed signs of cramping, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.
Tiggerlong Boo was quick to begin.
Cloona Express and Pants On Fire collided soon after the start, checking Pants On Fire. Cloona Express, Drop A Clanger and Cloona Magic collided on the first turn, checking Cloona Magic and Pants On Fire. Cloona Express checked off Drop A Clanger approaching the home turn.
