Alexagal was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a small graze on the left elbow.  No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. W. Stevens, the trainer of Rasleigh Banser regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Rasleigh Banser last raced on 9th May 2017.  Mr. Stevens stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after having weight issues.

Stewards spoke to Mr. L. Whelan the representative of the greyhound Lakeview Maisey regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the first turn.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Lakeview Maisey with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr. Whelan pleaded guilty to the charge.  Lakeview Maisey was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sale and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Our Charlie Rose, Billy Clover, Shamus Mac and Oh Nikita were slow to begin.  Nimble Lucy and Riviera Cruz collided approaching the first turn checking Velocity Whisper and severely checking Nimble Lucy and Riviera Cruz.  Riviera Cruz galloped on Allen Zero on the first turn checking Allen Zero, Riviera Cruz and Velocity Whisper.  Nimble Lucy and Shamus Mac raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.

Wadelock Venus was quick to begin.  Jebreco Surprise was slow to begin.  Jesse's Typhoon, Aged Badly and Usain Gilbert collided on the first turn severely checking Aged Badly.  Bont's Magic checked off Midnight Marzy on the second turn. Bont's Magic, Midnight Marzy and Jesse's Typhoon collided on the home turn.

Wadelock Venus was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a small wound on the left ear.  No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. W. Boreland, the representative of the greyhound Zipping Tatum regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Zipping Tatum last raced on 17th April, 2017.  Mr. Boreland stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after a spell and being on season.
