A pre race sample was taken from Zipping Foy.
It's A Lie and River Wild were slow to begin. Zipping Foy checked off Disclaimer approaching the first turn. Disclaimer and Alexagal colided approaching the first turn. Zipping Foy checked off It's A lie on the first turn. Disclaimer, It's A Lie, Alexagal and River Wild collided on the first turn checking River Wild causing Alexagal to fall and severely checking It's A Lie as a result.
Alexagal was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a small graze on the left elbow. No stand down period was imposed.
