Steward's Report
An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Emperor Cruz a resevse in this event on 19th December 2017, pursuant to GAR 79A.
A pre-race sample was taken from Jamari Belle.
Penny Lane Keats was quick to begin. Viewing was slow to begin. Jamari Belle and Daisy Patch collided approaching the first turn checking Jamari Belle. Zulu Zoe and Delta's Magic collided several times approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Daisy Patch checked off Shotgun Sammy on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Jamari Belle brushed the running rail on the first turn. Viewing and Daisy Patch collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Delta's Magic and Shotgun Sammy collided in the home straight.
Jamari Belle was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
MEETING COMMENTS:
Satisfactory Trial Results –Lady Spur trialled over the 460mtrs from box 1, weight 28.4kgs, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 26.04, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 3 ½ lengths. Lady Spur was Cleared.
Satisfactory Trial Results –Dewana Dime trialled over the 460mtrs from box 3, weight 29.3kgs, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 26.04, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 1 ¾ lengths. Dewana Dime was Cleared.
