This meeting was declared "hot weather" affected.  At the close of kennelling the outside temperature was 32 degrees and the kennel temperature was 19 degrees.

Inga Ross and Graphite County collided entering the home straight and several times in the home straight.  Inga Ross marred Graphite County in the home straight.

Inga Ross was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right monkey muscle strain, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr P. Inguanti, the trainer of the greyhound Inga Ross regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(1 ) stewards charged Inga Ross with marring. Mr Inguanti pleaded guilty to the charge, Inga Ross was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Horsham and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Desmond, the trainer of Corleone regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.   Corleone last raced on 8th September, 2017.  Mr. Desmond stated that the greyhound was new to the kennel.
