Steward's Report
Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) starter Mr Michael Craig did not act in any official capacity for this event; Mr Ryan Johnson was appointed starter for this event.
Mr Wayde Green, representative of Aye Milo declared a new weight of 35.4kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Aye Milo last raced at 34.0kg.
Shooter's Odysey was slow to begin and crossed to the outside soon after the start. Krazy Jane and Crime Minister collided soon after the start and again at the 300m mark. Bushman's Legend and Amlin Freddie collided approaching the 250m mark. Amlin Freddie galloped on You Bandit at the 200m mark, checking Krazy Jane and Carlanna Casey, and severely checking Amlin Freddie and You Bandit; Amlin Freddie stumbled as a result.
Aye Milo was vetted following the event. After being re-vetted following event seven, it was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury.
Stewards spoke to Mr Wade Green, the kennel representative for the greyhound Aye Milo. Stewards deemed the performance of Aye Milo unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, directed that Aye Milo must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
