Steward's Report
Placid Murphy was slow to begin.
Base Camp and Midnight Mystery collided soon after the start. Dark Star checked off Prue Lace approaching the first turn. Placid Murphy galloped on the heels of Dark Star on the first turn checking Tomal and Dark Star and Placid Murphy fell as a result. Midnight Mystery and Come On Charlize collided in the home straight.
Placid Murphy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to the left stopper and bruising to the right hind paw. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.
Dark Star was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
