Carla Zeus checked off Diamond On Fire soon after the start. Harambre's Might, Nunniong Plain, Rosie and Very Choosy collided on the first turn severely checking Harambre's Might. Very Choosy and Nunniong Plain collided in the front straight checking Oshkosh Expert. Diamond On Fire and Very Choosy collided on the second turn and again on the third turn checking Diamond On Fire. Rosie Riccarton and Carla Zeus collided on the home turn.
Harambe's Might was vetted and re-vetted following event 11. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hip injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
