Dyna Evelyn was slow to begin.
Allen Kev and Boil Over collided soon after the start. Boil Over and Crackerjack Doug collided approaching the first turn. Dyna Nina checked off Allen Kev approaching the first turn. Crackerjack Doug, Dyna Evelyn and Standing Bear collided on the first turn. Dyna Evelyn and Standing Bear collided approaching the second turn. Allen Kev and One Step Ahead collided in the back straight. One Step Ahead and Dyna Evelyn collided on the third turn. One Step Ahead checked off Dyna Evelyn approaching the home turn. Boil Over and Crackerjack Doug collided approaching the home turn. Boil Over, Dyna Nina and Dyna Evelyn collided approaching the home turn.
The incorrect result was dispalyed on the semaphore board due to some technical difficulties. The correct numbers of 1 - 3 - 4 & 7 (dead heat for 3rd) was later semaphored and the All Clear was given.
