Upon a request the starter rolled the sand at the front of the boxes prior to the event.
A pre-race sample was taken from Motown Mac.
Oakmont Octum was slow to begin. Machiko and Shiro collided approaching the first turn. Dr. Cadenza, Machiko, Shiro and All Inn Houston collided on the first turn checking Shiro and All Inn Houston. Motown Mac and Dr. Eleonora collided on the first turn and again approaching the second turn checking Motown Mac. All Inn Houston and Dr. Eleonora collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.
