Steward's Report
Pre-race samples were taken from Sisco General and Crump's Princess.
Herambe's Might and Red Rocks were slow to begin. Two Dollar Pots and Our Gal Livy collided approaching the first turn. Crump's Princess and Bont's Magic collided approaching the first turn. Two Dollar Pots and Crump's Princess collided on the first turn, checking Crump's Princess which raced wide. Sisco General and Canya Sassy collided on the first turn. Harambe's Might checked off Two Dollar Pots entering the back straight. Our Gal Livy raced wide in the back straight, checking Red Rocks which lost ground. Our Gal Livy and Red Rocks collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn. Red Rocks eased and failed to pursue the lure entering the home straight, checking Our Gal Livy. Our Gal Livy and Red Rocks collided several times in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr. M. Briganti, the representative of the greyhound Red Rocks regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering the home straight. Red Rock was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right fibula, a 14 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Red Rocks with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Briganti pleaded guilty to the charge, Red Rocks was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
