A pre race sample was taken from Destini Seahorse.
Kwazii went up with the lids at box rise and was very slow to begin (3 lengths). Undeniably was slow to begin.
Seabrook Gem checked off Warbo approaching the first turn. Merc checked off Grand Maximus approaching the second turn. Undeniably and Grand Maximus collided on the third turn. Merc galloped on Grand Maximus approaching the home turn. Kwazii and Seabrook Gem collided approaching the home turn.
Due to persistent rainfall, Stewards inspected the track following the event and deemed the surface safe to continue racing.
