Marcus Daking was quick to begin. Crump's Princess and Become The Fuse were slow to begin.

Joffa's Oldboy and El Grand Knocka collided soon after the start. Magic Buddie and Become The Fuse collided soon after the start. Marcus Daking and El Grand Knocka collided on the first turn. Crump's Princess and Become The Fuse collided on the first turn. Sariah Allen and Glenda Kingy collided approaching the second turn, checking Glenda Kingy and Magic Buddie. Marcus Daking and El Grand Knocka collided on the second turn, checking Magic Buddie. Joffa's Oldboy, Crump's Princess and Become The Fuse collided on the second turn, checking Joffa's Oldboy and Become The Fuse. Joffa's Oldboy faltered on the second turn and subsequently tailed off. El Grand Knocka and Become The Fuse collided in the back straight. 

Joffa's Oldboy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right back muscle. A 21 day stand down period was imposed. 

A sample was taken from Glenda Kingy, winner of the event. 

Following the event, Stewards inspected a section of the track near the second turn and subsequently deemed the surface safe to continue racing. 

Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Lure driver Mr C Chilcott did not act in any official capacity for this event.

A pre race sample was taken from Roger Express. 

Allen Sharpie was slow to begin. 

Seabrook Eb and Noosa Parade collided approaching the first turn, checking Seabrook Eb. Backin' Bully checked off Mate Bale on the first turn and collided with Roger Express, severely checking Backin' Bully and Roger Express. Noosa Parade checked off Backin' Bully on the first turn and collided with Allen Sharpie. Roger Express checked off Backin' Bully approaching the second turn and collided with Seabrook Eb. Mate Bale and Lady Beatrix collided on the home turn and again in the home straight. Allen Sharpie and Lady Beatrix collided approaching the winning post.

Fiery Melody was quick to begin.

Alezan and Johnnie Red collided soon after the start, checking Johnnie Red. Destini Fortress checked off Bacardi Breezer soon after the start. Bacardi Breezer and Allen Gable collided on the first turn, checking Allen Gable. Nunniong Plain and Alezan collided entering the front straight. Johnnie Red and Destini Fortress collided entering the back straight, checking Johnnie Red who lost considerable ground.  Bacardi Breezer checked off Fiery Melody on the third turn. 

Johnnie Red was examined by the veterinarian after the greyhound's performance proved disappointing. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left back muscle. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Verne Allen and Fernando Express were slow to begin and collided soon after the start, checking both greyhounds. Carla Zeus and Verne Allen collided approaching the first turn, checking Verne Allen. Calendar Boy, Spudtacular and Timtams For Bams collided approaching the first turn. Fernando Express checked off Spudtacular on the first turn and collided with Dyna Fabrice. Spudtacular and Fernando Express collided entering the back straight. Spudtacular checked off Fernando Express in the back straight. Hecton Bale and Spudtacular collided on the third turn. Carla Zeus and Spudtacular collided approaching the home turn, checking Carla Zeus. Dyna Fabrice galloped on Fernando Express approaching the home turn. Calendar Boy and Timtams For Bams collided approaching the home turn, checking Calendar Boy. Calendar Boy and Verne Allen collided entering the home straight, checking Calendar Boy.

Spudtacular was vetted following the event. It was reported that no apparent injury was found.

Zipping Maisy and Down Mexico Way collided soon after the start. Oshkosh Yobbo, Moneypenny and Zipping Maisy collided on the first turn. Oshkosh Yobbo and Moneypenny collided on the second turn, checking Moneypenny. Oshkosh yobbo galloped on Zipping Maisy entering the back straight, checking both greyhounds.

Destroyer, Jeebus Bird, Inequity and Dundee Tango were slow to begin.

Iris Allen and Destroyer collided on the first turn. Hit The Highway and Sublime News collided on the first turn. Destroyer checked off Sublime News entering the front straight. Destroyer and Jeebus Bird collided on the third turn. Jeebus Bird checked off Iris Allen on the third turn, checking Destroyer.  Dundee Tango marred Inequity in the home straight. 

Dundee Tango was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left triceps muscle. A 21 day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to Mr G Scott-Smith, the trainer of the greyhound Dundee Tango regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Dundee Tango with marring. Mr Scott-Smith pleaded guilty to the charge, Dundee Tango was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at The Meadows and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Unite Bale, Black Spyro and Reckoning collided on the first turn. Unite Bale checked off Black Spyro approaching the second turn and collided with Leprechaun Storm. Leprechaun Storm and Unite Bale collided approaching the home turn, checking Leprechaun Storm. Unite Bale and Vancouver Star collided on the home turn, checking both greyhounds.

Navajo Bear, Lochinvar Dash and Dyna Jacinta collided soon after the start, severely checking Lochinvar Dash. Dyna Nina and Game Face collided approaching the first turn. Helicopter Harry crossed to the inside approaching the first turn, checking Dyna Jacinta and Navajo Bear. Alpha Themis, Dyna Nina and Game Face collided approaching the first turn. Game Face and Helicopter Harry collided on the first turn, checking Game Face. Navajo Bear and Helicopter Harry collided approaching the second turn, checking Helicopter Harry. Lochinvar Dash and Dyna Jacinta collided approaching the second turn, checking Dyna Jacinta. Dyna Nina galloped on Alpha Themis approaching the third turn, checking Lochinvar Dash. Lochinvar Dash and Helicopter Harry collided approaching the home turn. 

Lochinvar Dash was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right calf muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Seabrook Gem checked off Warbo approaching the first turn. Merc checked off Grand Maximus approaching the second turn. Undeniably and Grand Maximus collided on the third turn. Merc galloped on Grand Maximus approaching the home turn. Kwazii and Seabrook Gem collided approaching the home turn.
