Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Ms Melanie Lithgow, the trainer of Thor's Crest regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Thor's Crest last raced on 13 of July 2017. Ms Lithgow stated that the greyhound is returning after a left back muscle injury. Ms. Lithgow also declared a new weight of 34.0kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Thor's Quest last raced at 32.7kg.
Mr. Jarrod Fry, representative of Podium Sensation, declared a new weight of 33.8kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Podium Sensation last raced at 35.0kg.
Suzy Nitro was a late scratching at 10:37AM due to weight variation (GAR 39). A ten-day stand down period was imposed. Brian Sonneman was fined the sum of $100.
