21st November 2017, pursuant to GAR 79A. - Destroyer (Res).
22nd November 2017, pursuant to GAR 79A. - Zipping Lady and Ebby Ripper.
A pre-race sample was taken from Champagne Sally.
Petunia Monelli was quick to begin. Packey Keeping was slow to begin.
Ebby Ripper, Moment To Jive and Rockoon collided on the first turn checking Moment To Jive and Rockoon. Fanta Bale and Champagne Sally collided on the second turn. Champagne Sally checked off Fanta Bale in the front straight. Champagne Sally checked off Petunia Monelli on the fifth turn checking Moment To Jive. Champagne Sally and Moment To Jive collided on the home turn checking Champagne Sally.
Champagne Sally was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left carpal sprain, left trapezius and right deltoid injuries, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
