Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Ms. Y. Cassidy the trainer of Ruby Two Shoes regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Ruby Two Shoes last raced on 01/08/17. Ms. Cassidy stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a spell.
Lisa Marie and Jameka Gold were quick to begin. Love To Dream was slow to begin. Go Wilma Go and Able Bess collided soon after the start. It's Her Fate was checked off Jameka Gold on the first turn. Go Wilma Go galloped on Ruby Two Shoes on the first turn severely checking Ruby Two Shoes and checking Go Wilma Go. It's Her Fate and Jameka Gold collided approaching the home turn.
Ruby Two Shoes was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left monkey muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
