Stewards spoke to Mr James Shaw,  the handler of Capaldi, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Capaldi last raced on 18 August 2017.  Mr Shaw stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following an injury to the left triangle.

Mr Richard Gray was fined the sum of $50 for failing to ensure the registration papers/registration card were produced for the greyhound, Cobber Victorem, pursuant to GAR 33.

The Club Veterinary Surgeon examinted Starbright Toby and no illness was detected.  The greyhound was a late scratching at 2.48 pm, due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer, Mr Victor Millington, was fined the sum of $100.

The start of this event was delayed by approximately six minutes, due to a problem with the lure.

Sisco Ride was a late scratching at 2:54 pm on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, due to dehydration.  A five day stand down period was imposed.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Atlantic Rose trialled over the 410m from box one, weight 25.3 kgs, the greyhound was placed first in a field of four. The time of the trial was 23:65, the greyhound won by a margin of 10 lengths.  Atlantic Rose was Cleared.
