Steward's Report
You Rippa Pippa was quick to begin and crossed to the outside soon after the start. Wise Ricciardo and Revved Up Dee collided soon after the start. Banjo Snoopy, Saddle Tank, Wise Ricciardo and Revved Up Dee collided soon after the start checking Saddle Tank, Wise Ricciardo and Revved Up Dee. Wise Ricciardo and Revved Up Dee collided approaching the first turn checking Revved Up Dee. Fess Crockett and Wise Ricciardo collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Welshman and You Rippa Pippa collided on the second turn. Saddle Tank and Wise Ricciardo collided in the back straight. Wise Ricciardo and You Rippa Pippa collided on the home turn. Nareen and Welshman collided on the home turn checking You Rippa Pippa which raced wide as a result.
Banjo Snoopy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its tail. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Mr J La Rosa was directed by Stewards that he must present this greyhound for a follow up veterinary consultation within three days as per the On Track Veterinarians written report.
