Steward's Report
An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Starlight Jill engaged in this event on 3 October, 2017 pursuant to GAR 79A.
Bar King Buddy, Another What, All Inn Amy and Golden Blaze collided on the first turn. Tronic Flash and Daryl Dixon collided on the first turn. Bar King Buddy, All Inn Amy and Golden Blaze collided entering the back straight, checking All Inn Amy. Tronic Flash and Golden Blaze collided approaching the second turn, checking Tronic Flash. Just Banji and Bar King Buddy collided approaching the home turn. Starlight Jill and Another What collided approaching the home turn. Daryl Dixon and All Inn Amy collided approaching the winning post.
Tronic Flash was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury. No stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr J.Formosa, the handler of Tronic Flash, regarding the poor performance of the greyhound, which started favourite in today's event. After taking into consideration the evidence tendered by Mr Formosa, Stewards took no action.
A sample was taken from Another What, the winner of the event.
