Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Ms P.Triaca, the trainer of Zama Star regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Zama Star last raced on 24 May, 2017. Ms Triaca stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after being to kennels. Ms Triaca declared a new weight of 26.1kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Zama Star last raced at 26.1kg.
Mr R.Wilkinson trainer of Mitchell's Lane declared a new weight of 31.7kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Mitchell's Lane last raced at 30.5kg.
Mahjong Prince, Mitchell's Lane and Hungry Heart collided soon after the start, checking Hungry Heart. Cobber Victorem and Mitchell's Lane collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn, checking Cobber Victorem which collided with Zama Star. Cobber Victorem and Zama Star collided approaching the home turn. Mahjong Prince raced wide in the home straight.
