Steward's Report
Pretty Sensation was a late scratching at 1.17am due to injury (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
Stewards delayed all clear to allow for the footage of the home straight to be reviewed in regards to a piece of paper that had blown onto the track at the enterance to the home straight. Acting on their own observations and review of the patrol footage, Stewards were satisfied that the piece of paper had not affected the outcome of the race and subsequently the all clear given was given.
Spring Ripper was slow to begin. Dyna Evelyn, Osakalaka and Jumbo Bale collided on the first trun checking Jumbo Bale and Osakalaka. Jumbo Bala and Osakalaka collided appraoaching the second turn checking Jumbo Bale. Dyna Evelyn and Osakalaka collided entering the home straight and in the home straight severely checking both greyhounds.
