Winston Cruise checked off Scarecrow Tiger on the first turn. Beejay's Lass and Happy Tails collided approaching the home turn checking Beejay's Lass. No Permit checked off Cracking Joe in the home straight. Winston Cruise galloped on No Permit in the home straight checking both greyhounds.
Midnight Ride was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left wrist, left biceps and left groin. A stand down period of 14 days was imposed.
