The start of this event was delayed for approximately 1 minute to hold for Warnambool gallops.
Don Lesta stumbled at box rise and was very slow to begin (7L).
Broulee Miss was slow to begin.
Tronic Flash, New Level, College Queen and Broulee Miss collided on the first turn checking New Level and Broulee Miss and severely checking College Queen which fell as a result. Linco Bale checked off New Level approaching the home turn. New Level and Broulee Miss collided on the home turn.
Don Lesta was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a minor right hind foot injury. No stand down penalty was applied.
