Fabregas Lara and Good Boy Oscar collided soon after the start, checking Fabregas Lara. Gammy's Choice and Wishes Fulfilled collided approaching the first turn, checking Gammy's Choice. Good Boy Oscar, Gammy's Choice and Black Legend collided on the first turn, checking all three greyhounds. Fabregas Lara raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight. Riverdale Banjo and Wishes Fulfilled collided approaching the winning post.
Riverdale Banjo was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury. No stand down period was imposed.
