Avatar Woody and My Rachael were slow to begin.
Serendipity Gold and Stitch Gun Miss collided soon after the start, checking Serendipity Gold. Avatar Woody and My Rachael collided soon after the start. Stitch Gun Miss and Rogue One collided on the first turn, checking Rogue One. Avatar Dodge checked off Stitch Gun Miss on the home turn. Stitch Gun Miss and Mat's Road collided in the home straight and again approaching the winning post, checking Stitch Gun Miss, Mat's Road and Avatar Dodge. Sight Screen, Stitch Gun Miss and Mat's Road collided approaching the winning post, checking all three greyhounds.
Rogue One was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right quadicep muscle. A ten-day stand down period was imposed.
