Spooked Out was slow to begin.

Nitro Heroine, Simone's Magic and Ginny Allen collided soon after the start. Osti's Raider and Spooked Out collided at the 200m mark. Mister Pickles and Nitro Heroine collided approaching the winning post.

Ms K Newport, representative of Terrigal Tornado, declared a new weight of 26.4kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Terrigal Tornado last raced at 27.5kg. 

Mr Patrick Newell, trainer of Black In Town, declared a new weight of 24.9kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Black In Town last raced at 23.7kg. 

Krazy Buzzard and Goldenpaw Kid were slow to begin.

Terrigal Tornado, Peiwen Emgrand, Sharks Glory and King Henry collided soon after the start. Terrigal Tornado and Peiwen Emgrand collided at the 250m mark. Black In Town, Peiwen Emgrand and King Henry collided at the 150m mark. Black In Town and Peiwen Emgrand collided at the 100m mark, checking Black In Town. Bali Angel and Goldenpaw Kid collided at the 50m mark, checking Goldenpaw Kid.

Daintree Lilli was a late scratching at 10:46am on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to a right hind paw injury. A ten-day stand down period was imposed.

It Is Done and Swift Joker were slow to begin.

Flying Vulcan crossed to the outside at the 300m mark. Swift Joker and Gala Rose collided at the 250m mark. Destini Lima and Swift Joker collided several times between the 50m mark and the winning post.

Solar On was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury. No stand down period was imposed.

Parie Shiraz was slow to begin.

Remain Seated, Bling Legacy, Bliss Street and Orlando Cruise collided soon after the start, checking Bling Legacy, Bliss Street and Orlando Cruise. Parie Shiraz and Bling Legacy collided at the 250m mark. Parie Shiraz checked off Bling Legacy at the 200m mark. Remain Seated crossed to the outside at the 200m mark. Bliss Street crossed to the rail at the 150m mark, checking My Fernando Tim.

Bliss Street marred Brave Innings approaching the winning post and was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury. No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr Gerry Orr, the trainer of the greyhound Bliss Street, regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Bliss Street with marring. Mr Orr pleaded not guilty to the charge, Bliss Street was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Healesville and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Blazing Nitro was slow to begin.

Sleeping Slick crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Blazing Nitro. Addictive Riley crossed to the outside approaching the 200m mark, checking Harvey Leigh and Black Odessa. Blazing Nitro and Harvey Leigh collided approaching the 150m mark. Black Odessa eased at the 100m mark and tailed off.

Black Odessa was vetted following the event, and trainer Mr Martyn Empson declined the option of a revet. It was found that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury.

Stewards spoke to Mr Martyn Empson, the trainer of the greyhound Black Odessa, regarding the greyhound's racing manners at the 100m mark. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Black Odessa with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Empson pleaded guilty to the charge, Black Odessa was found guilty and suspended the greyhound for three months (all tracks) and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(b), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Vane Blue was quick to begin.

Oliver Cruise and Homer collided soon after the start. Emilia Cash and Mon Mekki Kahn collided several times from the 300m mark to the 200m mark, checking Emilia Cash. Crymelon Fettle raced wide from the 300m mark for the remainder of the event. Oliver Cruise and Vane Blue collided approaching the winning post.
