Yaala was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to the left and right metatarsals.  No stand down period was imposed.

Lilrigg was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a metacarpal fracture and split webbing to the left foreleg, a 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Mrs R. Kleeven, trainer of Sparky Neveelk, declared a new weight of 35.3 kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Sparky Neveelk last raced at 34.2 kgs.

Gemanna Shelby was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained right foreleg chest and right hindleg groin injuries, a seven day stand down period was imposed.

Landmark was slow to begin.  Hot Charmola, Blackpool Chuck and Burn Like Fire collided soon after the start, checking Hot Charmola.  Mepunga Tycoon galloped on Burn Like Fire approaching the 100m mark.  Mepunga Tycoon and Burn Like Fire collided at the 50m mark.

Stewards spoke to Mr Nicholas Kosky, the handler of Bobby's Baby, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Bobby's Baby last raced on 7 May 2017.  Mr Kosky stated that the greyhound was returning from a right stopper injury.

Stewards spoke to Mr Steve Daniliuk, the trainer of My Regina, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  My Regina last raced on 9 March 2017.  Mr Daniliuk stated that  the greyhound was returning from a right back muscle injury.
