Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Rockoon upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
The ISO-LYNX real-time tracking beacon dislodged from MaCalister Ike on the first turn, during the race.
MaCalister Ike was quick to begin. Lottie Glenda was slow to begin.
MaCalister Ike and Ha Ha Gotcha collided approaching the first turn. Dr. Eleonora collided entering the home straight.
Meeting Comments:
At the completion of kennelling today, Express Chain undertook a veterinary examination pursuant to GAR 73 (3), after incurring a 7-day stand-down penalty for an injury from Lang Lang on 30 July 2017. The On-Course Veterinary Surgeon advised Stewards that Express Chain was not fit to race, at the time of examination and as such, the original stand-down penalty remained, as imposed.
Satisfactory Trial Results - Kalani Klare trialled over the 525mtrs from box 1, weight 25.6kgs, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 30.50, the greyhound won by a margin of 6 lengths. Kalani Klare was cleared.
