Velocity Whisper was quick to begin.  River Wild and Stevie Gee were slow to begin.  In A Jam, Stevie Gee and Sneak Preview collided soon after the start.  In A Jam and Sneak Preview collided approaching the first turn checking In A Jam.  River Wild and Stevie Gee collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  River Wild and Stevie Gee collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  River Wild was checked off Stevie Gee entering the home straight.  Velocity Whisper and Rahni collided in the home straight.  Chucky Thump galloped on Velocity Whisper in the home straight checking Velocity Whisper, Rahni and Chucky Thump.  Rahni and Sneak Preview collided several times approaching the winning post checking both greyhounds.Chucky Thump veered in and marred Velocity Whisper approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Mr. A. Wright the trainer of the greyhound Chucky Thump regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under GAR 69(1) Stewards charged Chucky Thump with marring.  Mr. Wright pleaded not guilty to the charge, Chucky Thump was found guilty and suspended the greyhound for 3 months and it was directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(2)(b) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Mrs. M. Clay was fined the sum of $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound Rahni pursuant to GAR 33.

Our Aqua Blue was quick to begin.  Ruby Two Shoes and It's A Kiss were slow to begin.  Ruby Two Shoes was checked off Arctic Iggy approaching the first turn.  It's A Kiss galloped on Miss Oreo Mac on the first turn checking Miss Oreo Mac.  Arctic Iggy was checked off Miss Oreo Mac approaching the home turn.  It's A Kiss raced wide in the home straight.

Ruby Two Shoes was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right monkey muscle and left chest muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Delta's Magic was a late scratching at 11.11am due to illness.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Moto Girl, Ends Well and Knew It were slow to begin and collided soon after the start.  Moto Girl was checked off Knew It on the first turn.  Always Alone was checked off Trey Bit approaching the home turn checking Knew It.  Moto Girl and Ends Well raced wide on the home turn.  Always Alone and Knew It collided entering the home straight.

Raise The Bet and Zipping Danii were slow to begin.  Zipping Danii was checked off Scarlet Twice soon after the start.  Raise The Bet was checked off Maggie's Alone on the first turn.  Scarlet Twice galloped on Stella View on the first turn severely checking Stella View and checking Scarlet Twice.  Raise The Bet was checked off Maggie's Alone in the home straight.  Raise The Bet raced wide in the home straight.

Legend Jack was quick to begin and crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Vanishka, Soda Man and Sir Richard, Taabinga Sprite fell as a result.  Jay Jay Bee raced wide on the home turn.  Legend Jack was checked off Vanishka entering the home straight.

Cosmic Fox and Alina Grand collided soon after the start checking Cosmic Fox.  Miss Dee Meadows and Alina Grand collided on the first turn checking Alina Grand.  Miss Dee Meadows and Cairo Calling collided approaching the home turn checking Cairo Calling.  Cairo Calling and Weeona Jimmy collided on the home turn.  Cosmic Fox raced wide in the home straight.

Perfect Storm was slow to begin.  Petadale and Paradiso Lass collided soon after the start checking Paradiso Lass.  Mac and Weeona Paul collided several times approaching the first turn checking Mac.  Mac and Paradiso Lass collided on the first turn.  Aston Hodge, Ice Cool Kaedyn and Petadale collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn.

Stewards spoke to Ms. K. Leek the trainer of Trouper regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Trouper last raced on 05/04/17.  Ms. Leek stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a right wrist injury.

Trouper and Jimmy Newob were slow to begin.  Alpha Aion, Ishmy Girl, Don Lesta and Rellim Diesel collided soon after the start checking Ishmy Girl and Rellim Diesel.  Don Lesta and Cain Hoy collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Noaki Colour, Alpha Aion and Trouper collided on the first turn checking Alpha Aion.  Noaki Colour was checked off Trouper entering the home straight.

Mr. B. Keel the representative for Hyperactive declared a new weight of 35.3kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Hyperactive last raced at 34.1kg.

My Alibi and Hyperactive were slow to begin.  Joe's Dolly and Off The Hip collided soon after the start checking Joe's Dolly.  My Alibi and Off The Hip collided several times between the first turn and approaching the home turn checking Off The Hip.

No Road, Black Paws and Tumble And Dry were slow to begin.  Early Thunder and It Gets Better collided approaching the first turn checking No Road and severely checking It Gets Better.  Tumble And Dry raced wide in the home straight.

Acquainted was slow to begin and stumbled soon after the start.  Cosmic Chieftain, Screaming Oaks and Dr. Gammiris collided on the first turn checking Cosmic Chieftain and Dr. Gammiris and severley checking Screaming Oaks which stumbled as a result.  Collis Princess was checked off Lady Alliance approaching the home turn.

Demon Jesse was a late scratching at 6.00pm on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to an injured right shoulder.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Lion Rebel was quick to begin.  Cosmic Sole clipped the heels of Lion Rebel soon after the start.  Birkenhead and Pawfection collided approaching the first turn.  Birkenhead was checked off Pawfection on the first turn.  Lion Rebel, Pawfection, Handsome Cosmo and San Pablo collided on the first turn checking Handsome Cosmo and severley checking Pawfection.

Roland View was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right wrist and right shoulder muscle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
