Steward's Report

Tiger Bite Turbo, Benlura and Cloona Express were quick to begin.  Pop Do It was slow to begin.  Murrabit Betty and Redda collided soon after the start, checking Murrabit Betty.  Secret Choice and Redda collided approaching the first turn.  Tiger Bite Turbo and Benlura collided approaching the first turn.  Secret Choice, Pop Do It, Murrabit Betty and Tear Away Duke collided on the first turn, checking Secret Choice, Pop Do It and Tear Away Duke.  Tiger Bite Turbo and Redda collided approaching the home turn.  Tiger Bite Turbo failed to pursue the lure with due committment on the home turn and collided with Benlura.

Tiger Bite Turbo was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Ms Nicole Stanley, the trainer of the greyhound Tiger Bite Turbo, regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) Stewards charged Tiger Bite Turbo with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Ms Stanley pleaded guilty to the charge, Tiger Bite Turbo was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warrnambool and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
