Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Rattle Gate.
Rattle Gate was slow to begin. Hurricane Bertha and Just Red collided soon after the start checking Just Red. Hurricane Bertha and Raglan Bindi collided approaching the first turn checking Hurricane Bertha. Hurrican Bertha faltered approaching the home turn and tailed off. Rattle Gate and Raglan Bindi collided on the home turn and several times in the home straight.
Hurricane Bertha was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right back muscle. A stand down period of 60 days was imposed.
