Britz was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left and right monkey muscles and left and right thigh muscles. A stand down period of 14 days was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Harry's Hammer.

Greysynd Ebony was very slow to begin (4L). Daintree Lilli and Jaygee Sprinter collided on the first turn checking Jaygee Sprinter. Dee Blue Flame checked off Zoenah's Legacy approaching the home turn. Daintree Lilli and Harry's Hammer collided approaching the home turn severely checking Harry's Hammer and Greysynd Ebony. Dee Blue Flame eased on the home turn and collided with Jaygee Sprinter and Harry's Hammer checking all three greyhounds.

Harry's Hammer was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the left front foot. A stand down period of 14 days was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mrs. J. Chilcott, the trainer of the greyhound Dee Blue Flame regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn.  Dee Blue Flame was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left monkey muscle and a right hock sprain, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Dee Blue Flame with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mrs. Chilcott pleaded guilty to the charge, Dee Blue Flame was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Hurricane Bertha was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right back muscle. A stand down period of 60 days was imposed.

Manx Czar was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound and abrasions to the right hind toes. A stand down period of 10 days was imposed.

Hard Luck Story was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a small cut on the gum. No stand down period was imposed.

Nitro Power checked off Carrara Lad on the first turn checking Nitro Power and Be Hopeful. Chum's Special, Slipaway Bolt and Cosmic Spur collided approaching the home turn checking all three greyhounds. Be Hopeful and Cosmic Spur collided in the home straight

Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Hayes, the trainer of Crazy Hawke regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Crazy Hawke last raced on 29th March 2017. Mr. Hayes stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a right toe injury.

Mr. D. Torr, trainer of Glamorous Cheech declared a new weight of 30.2kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Glamorous Cheech last raced at 28.9kg.

Quick Collision, Hey Alio Fozzio and Glamorous Cheech were slow to begin. Hey Alio Fozzio checked off Glamorous Cheech soon after the start. Fancy Bounce and Tranquil Will collided on the first turn checking Tranquil Will. Hey Alio Fozzio raced wide on the home turn. Nero Joe and Crazy Hawke collided entering the home straight checking both greyhounds. Crazy Hawke and Tranquil Will collided approaching the winning post.

Bambalam Emma and Face To Face collided soon after the start checking Face To Face. Daintree Destroy checked off Podium Fantasy and stumbled on the first turn. Face To Face checked off Crook Me Kindly on the home turn. Podium Fantasy raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight. Face To Face raced wide in the home straight. Ruby Rads, Swift Spur and Crook Me Kindly collided approaching the winning post.

Daintree Destroy was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
