A pre race sample was taken from Tiggerlong Nosey.
Early Thunder was quick to begin. Amaroo Gonzales galloped on Our Bravo Rose soon after the start severely checking Our Bravo Rose which fell as a result. We Have Hope galloped on Tiggerlong Nosey on the first turn severely checking We Have Hope. We Have Hope, Early Express and Amaroo Gonzales collided on the first turn severely checking all three greyhounds.
Our Bravo Rose was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards walked and inspected the track post race.
