Steward's Report
Raymond Allen was a late scratching at 7:43AM due to injury (GAR 23). A ten-day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
A pre-race sample was taken from Zou Star upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
One Step Ahead crossed to the rail soon after the start. Oshkosh Erny Vee and Zou Star collided son after the start. Oshkosh Erny Vee, Zou Star and Glenda Kingy collided soon after the start. Paxton Bale, Oshkosh Erny Vee, Zou Star and Glenda Kingy collided approaching the first turn. Paxton Bale, Oshkosh Erny Vee, Zou Star, Glenda Kingy and Headline News collided on the first turn, severely checking Paxton Bale which brushed the running rail as a result. Oshkosh Erny Vee checked off the heels of Glenda Kingy on the second turn. Oshkosh Erny Vee checked off the heels of Paxton Bale on the third turn. One Step Ahead tired over the concluding stages of the event.
