Steward's Report
Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) lure driver Mr C Hiscock did not act in any official capacity for this event.
A pre-race sample was taken from Mainline Osti.
Sergei and Helen Baxter were slow to begin and crossed to the rail soon after the start.
Dr. Leonardo checked off Wanda Bale collided on the first turn. Proven Kodiak and Roaring Rampage collided on the first turn. Proven Kodiak and Roaring Rampage collided again on the second turn, checking both greyhounds and severely checking Wanda Bale and Dr. Leonardo which also raced wide. Petra Allen and Roaring Rampage collided on the third turn, checking Roaring Rampage. Helen Baxter checked off Roaring Rampage approaching the home turn. Wanda Bale and Roaring Rampage entering the home straight, checking both greyhounds.
Roaring Rampage was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury. No stand down period was imposed.
MEETING COMMENTS
Satisfactory Trial Results - Hit The Runway trialled over the 525m from box eight, weight 32.1kg, the greyhound was placed first in a field of five. The time of the trial was 30.42, the greyhound won by a margin of 11.75L. Hit The Runway was cleared.
