Shall She Cindy raced wide approaching the home turn, checking Acola Sweetie.

Cassius Biscotti was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right trapezius muscle and left triangle muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Ruby Red Eden was slow to begin. Diamond Rocks crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Tobacco Leaf, Forever Cousins and Kalgoorlie Kid. Kalgoorlie Kid and Weeona Dino collided on the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Ruby Red Eden and Forever Cousins collided on the first turn, checking Ruby Red Eden. Ruby Red Eden checked off Diamond Rocks on the first turn. Forever Cousins contacted the running rail on the third turn and lost ground as a result. Kalgoorlie Kid and Diamond Rocks collided approaching the home turn, checking Kalgoorlie Kid.

Forever Cousins was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both trapezuis muscles, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. W. Gray, the trainer of Why Not Trish regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Why Not Trish last raced on 25th March 2017. Mr. Gray stated that  the greyhound was resuming to racing following an injury to the right hock.

Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Kearns, the trainer of Loud Lana, and reminded him of his obligations under rule 75(1) to contact Stewards on Monday the 3rd of July regarding the greyhound's recovery. 

Paraphernalia was a late scratching at 1:18PM on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to an injury to the right back muscle. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Meehan Dan, Vanishka and Hit The Highway were slow to begin. Hit The Highway crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Vanishka and Meehan Dan. Go Go Guru and Jimmy Got Style were slow to begin. Go Go Guru and Jimmy Got Style collided soon after the start, checking both greyhounds. Brazen Blue and Addictive Bryce collided soon after the start. Bellario and Magical Bling collided on the first turn and again on the second turn, checking Magical Bling. Jimmy Got Style and Drafted collided on the second turn, checking both greyhounds. Go Go Guru and Jimmy Got Style collided approaching the home turn, checking both greyhounds. Drafted checked off Addictive Bryce collided on the home turn.

Teggernaut checked off Back On Lava on the first turn. Back On Lava checked off El Grand Knocka collided on the first turn, checking Makikos. Back On Lava and Dee Jay Dancer collided on the second turn, checking both greyhounds. El Grand Knocka eased on the second turn and collided with Sports Gairn and Revel, checking all three greyhounds. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Nicholls, the representative of the greyhound El Grand Knocka regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering the back straight. El Grand Knocka was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left deltoid muscle and left trapezius muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged El Grand Knocka with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Nicholls pleaded guilty to the charge, El Grand Knocka was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Gats As Promised trialled over the 515m from box 1, weight 23.9kg, the greyhound was placed 5th in a field of five starters. The time of the trial was 30.06, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 14.25 lengths. Gats As Promised was not cleared. 

Satisfactory Trial Results - Rosie Riccarton trialled over the 515m from box 3, weight 25.2kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of five starters. The time of the trial was 30.06, the greyhound won by a margin of 0.5 lengths. Rosie Riccarton was cleared.
