Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. B. Jones, the trainer of Girthy regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Girthy last raced on 17/02/16. Mr. Jones stated that the greyhound was returning to race after being seasonal.
Zelemar Zest was slow to begin. Andiamo Neo was very slow to begin (4 lengths). Ripper, Spritely, Andiamo Neo, Zelemar Zest and Half Way There collided on the first turn checking Spritely, Zelemar Zest and Half WayThere. Andiamo Neo and Girthy collided approaching the home turn. Ripper and Zelemar Zest collided on the home turn and again in the home straight.
