My Names Rhonda was quick to begin. Kraken Jayjay and Eric Jay were slow to begin and collided soon after the start. Spooky Spook, Azza and Pink Caviar collided soon after the start checking Azza. Jack's Lass checked off My Names Rhonda approaching the first turn and collided with Gunmetal Angel as a result. Jack's Lass crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Spooky Spook, Pink Caviar and Kraken Jayjay. Pink Caviar and Eric Jay collided approaching the home turn. Pink Caviar and Azza collided on the home turn. Kraken Jayjay checked off Eric Jay entering the home straight.
Kraken Jayjay was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to its right hock. No stand down period was imposed.
